Sue Pym, Employee Engagement and Brand Manager at security solutions giant G4S explains in the video above how a bespoke approach from ETS helped them deliver one of the world’s biggest-ever staff satisfaction surveys.
Benchmarking results
We have an extensive benchmark database featuring millions of survey question responses from 400,000 employees at companies across industry sectors including financial services, professional services, retail and leisure.
Benchmarking the results of an employee satisfaction survey is important an important part of the survey process as it gives context to results. Companies typically use both internal and external benchmarking. Internal benchmarking compares an organisation’s historical and overall scores to interpret the latest employee survey results. External benchmarking is used to determine where a company’s survey scores lie in comparison to competitors or other comparable organisations.
Successful action planning
Another area where ETS can help is action planning. Companies often struggle to drive forward action plans, facing resistance from the business to take action on survey results.
We can provide a bespoke survey tool that can be used by HR teams, line managers and executives to generate reports and analysis. Findings can then be used to inform action planning. Our business psychologists can also offer support to managers in interpreting data and taking relevant actions from it. And if further, more in-depth analysis of data is desired, our business psychologists can carry out detailed analysis of results including key driver and linkage analyses and focus groups.
